I am a person who believes in life. Who believes that there is magic and beauty and wonder out there, whatever form it comes in. I could sit here and list all of my accomplishments or dreams, all of my goals and my characteristics.

But all of that, every bit of it, is in what I write.

Every time pen is put to paper, truth is immortalised. Sometimes we don’t recognise that truth, or don’t admit to it, but it is there. I certainly know that what I produce with my words carries a tiny piece of all those I love. People are what matter to me, and so people are what appear on the page.

So I guess if you love people, if you believe in the small things that are hushed away when we ‘grow up’, if you enjoy writing and love reading, then you may want to read on.

And if not, give it a chance anyway. We find the most crazy memorable things in the places we don’t expect.

  1. Never, ever stop believing in those things or lose that sense of wonderment about life. They help you stay in the moment and appreciative, which are the keys to remaining truly happy. Your perspective and observations are wonderful. Never lose that 😉

    • They are beliefs I am determined to hold on to. It can be so easy to turn away from them and lose sight of all the magic you are part of and gifts the world gives you. Thank you so much for your comments, they have made me smile! 🙂

  2. Thank you for the writing you’re doing here. On this post, I particularly liked “if you believe in the small things that are hushed away when we ‘grow up’, if you enjoy writing and love reading. . .” I just finished a Neil Gaimon book–The Ocean at the End of the Lane–that was based on those very things–what’s hushed away when we ‘grow up.’ That’s one of the spaces that I try to write into.
